Scope of work summary: corridor improvements to 1.35 miles of Polo Road from intersection of University Parkway to Ransom Road, to include milling and repaving, sidewalks, traffic islands and pedestrian safety upgrades, storm drainage, utility relocations, pedestrian and vehicle signals, traffic signs, pavement markings, erosion control and traffic control. M/WBE subcontracting goals of 11%MBE and 7%WBE apply. The purpose of this conference is to summarize the scope of work involved and to explain the City's Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) goals and program related to this project. Staff will be present to answer questions. A sign-in sheet will serve as the attendance record. Prime bidders and subcontractors are encouraged to attend to learn about the project scope and to discuss outreach efforts to HUB-certified M/WBE subcontractors
