Project Description and General information a. The Martin Canal Flume Relocation and Expansion Project is an effort onthepart of New Sweden Irrigation District (NSID) to deliver additional water to its patrons (electors) that receive surface irrigation water from the Martin Canal. Thecurrent flume was constructed in 1948 and now runs through the middle of asubdivision in Bonneville County. It is nearly impossible to deliver the requiredamount of water to the patrons because of the small size of the flume at the beginning of the Martin Canal. b. NSID has previously purchased a right of way near the original flume wherethenew flume will be located. c. Project location near the south line of the NE 1/4 of Section 17, T2N,
