East Mifflin Street Green Infrastructure Improvements Project Project generally comprises installation of green infrastructure stormwater trenches, stormwater structures, related improvements (pavement, drainage, landscaping) and restoration to areas disturbed by construction operations. The project consists of stormwater trenches, drainage improvements and repaving work. The project area is on E. Mifflin Street from S. Marshall Street to the dead end east of S. Franklin Street. Oral The City of Lancaster is seeking bids for improvements in the public right-of-way on E. Mifflin Street from S. Marshall Street to the dead-end east of S. Franklin Street including, but not limited to stormwater trenches, drainage improvements, landscaping and repaving work. This Project and Contract are subject to certain special requirements. For example, as more specifically detailed in the Contract Documents, the successful bidder shall be required to assure protection against discrimination for employees, applicants for employment, and subcontractors on the grounds of actual or perceived race, color, sex, religion, ancestry, genetic information, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, familial status, marital status, age, mental or physical disability, use of guide or support animals and/or mechanical aids; to make payment of certain minimum salaries and wages; and compliance with all requirements of the Steel Products Procurement Act. The City of Lancaster, PA reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to accept the Bid, which is in the best interest of the City. The lowest responsible bidder need not be the bidder submitting the lowest dollar amount bid. The City may also consider the quality of the goods or services supplied, ease of repair, compatibility with other City equipment, responsiveness, past performance of the bidder and any other reasonable factors specified in the bid package.
