Burt Springs Renovation Project The work is comprised of the rehabilitation of the existing Burt Springs collection system consisting of new collection piping, concrete junction box, chain link fencing, plug in existing collection pipe, and other appurtenances for a complete and operable spring collection system. The work also includes the modifications to the existing pump house and construction of an addition to the existing drinking water pump house consisting of a masonry block structure with pitched roof; furnishing and installing a 60 HP single-stage, split case pump, motor, and new VFD, relocation of the existing 100 HP single-stage, split case pump, motor, and VFD; pump station piping, bladder style surge tank, flow meter, and valves, drain piping, chlorination facilities, HVAC, electrical, controls; new SCADA Antenna, relocate existing radio antenna; relocation of aeration system panels and 2-inch diameter PVC piping; concrete sidewalks and stairs, concrete curb and gutter, paving, concrete retaining wall, final site grading and restoration, exterior piping including a 16-inch diameter waterline with connection to the existing 12-inch diameter waterline; and all other associated items and appurtenant work. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to accept or reject the whole or any part of any bid; or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the best interest of Springville City. Only bids giving a firm quotation properly signed will be accepted.
