RFP Design - Pre-Engineered Modular Building Design & Fabrication Services for Space Shuttle Exhibit & Education Building. PROJECT LOCATION The Project PEMB will be installed as part of the Space Shuttle Exhibit Project performed at the Columbia Memorial Space Center, 12400 Columbia Way, Downey, CA 90242 ("Site"). A Site Description is included in Appendix "A" as well as other relevant information related to the Site and Project PEMB. Design Stage. The Firm will coordinate with City staff and the Architect to prepare (1) a conceptual design of the Project PEMB; and (2) final, permitted design documents for the Project PEMB. The Firm will be required to coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction ("AHJ(s)"), attend project meetings, Design, fabrication and storing of Pre-Engineered Modular Building (PEMB) for Space Shuttle Exhibit & Education Building Project, including framing, walls, roof structure and trim accessories. Liquidated Damages $2,000/day. Question Deadline 01/11/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Additional questions regarding the Project may be forwarded in writing to the City of Downey's Project Management Consultant, Jennifer Pearson at jennifer.pearson@huckabee-inc.com. Delete The City reserves the right to withdraw the RFP at any time without prior notice. In addition, the City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals at its sole discretion, and to waive irregularities in any proposal. Furthermore, the City makes no representations that the Project will be awarded to any Firm that responds to the RFP. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
