Project Description: 1. Burnsville Elementary School: Project consists of replacement of existing mechanical equipment, new acoustical ceilings and light fixtures, a cafeteria expansion, and new gym flooring. The addition shall include a (14) classrooms, administration space, and support spaces. Sitework to support the new addition includes an additional lane for increased queuing, and expanded bus and car parking. 2. Blue Ridge Elementary School: Project consists of a building addition that includes (12) classrooms, administration space, and support spaces. Sitework to support the new addition includes a dedicated bus drive, and expanded bus and car parking. 3. Cane River Middle School: Project consists of replacement of existing mechanical equipment, replacement of cold and hot water supply mains throughout, new acoustical ceilings and light fixtures, kitchen tile replacement, new kitchen equipment, removal of all existing asbestos flooring and replacement with new flooring, and restroom tile replacement. Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages of $3,000 per day.
