PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Seismic retrofit project that involves retrofit of superstructure, columns, and footings through section build up and/or use of CFRP wraps, as well as separating ramps from the structure and building up a lightweight fill support for ramps, adding new expansion joints at the ramps, removing and reinstalling handrails and modifying the ends of handrails at new expansion joints. PROJECT LOCATION: The Delridge Way SW Pedestrian Bridge is located at the intersection of Delridge Way SW and SW Oregon St in the North Delridge Neighborhood. PROJECT LOCATION: Crown Hill, Holman Road NW at 13th Avenue NW. A/E ESTIMATE: $1,300,000 to $1,500,000 QUESTIONS: Questions must be emailed by 5:00pm, 3 Business Days before Bid opening. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. TIME OF COMPLETION Work must begin immediately on the Notice To Proceed Date in the Written Notice from the Engineer and after the date of such notice must be physically completed within the following period per Section 3 of the Agreement: 110 WORKING DAYS LIQUIDATED DAMAGES If the successful Contractor fails to complete Work within the time set forth above, (s)he will be charged Liquidated Damages per Section 4 of the Agreement and Section 1-08.9.
