Construction Budget : $1,000,000.00 Persons or companies bidding on this project shall hold a current Utah Contractor's License covering the type of work to be done and shall be bondable to the amount of the Contract. A representative from each interested prime firm is required to attend. During the meeting, a presentation will be made to describe the overall scope of work and the intended schedule. Interested firms may ask questions and request clarification about the project and the procurement process. Subconsultants are invited to attend this meeting but it is not mandatory for them. The University of Utah reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the University. The Bid Bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the above bid sum, shall become the property of the University of Utah as liquidated damages for delay and additional expense caused thereby in the event that the contract is not executed and/or acceptable 100% Performance and Payment Bonds are not delivered within the time set forth.
