The New Administration Building will be construction type 2-B, which will allow for unprotected structural elements, and will have fire sprinkler protection. Site improvements will include rework of existing parking spaces, sidewalks, and fire-lanes. Add-alternates will include additional parking, an educational bioswale, and roof water collection tanks to serve landscaping water needs. Owner is seeking a Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMAR) using the one-step process authorized by Section 271.118 of the Texas Local Government Code.
