.1 Replacement of an existing culvert with 27.5m length of new 1500mm diameter concrete culvert, including 300mm of new bedding gravels, and a concrete head-wall with bentonite / clay sub-grade plug at the upstream inlet. .2 New guardrail 36 m long on the upstream side of Shore Road. .3 Reinstate all embankments, gravel road shoulders and driveways, asphalt road and driveways, guardrail, and armour stone disturbed during construction - as indicated, includes permanent pavement marking. .4 All mass excavation of embankment common, import of borrow and mass excavation and embankment and removal of unsuitable material which might be encountered for the construction of the indicated culvert. .5 The supply, installation and maintenance of all environmental controls and protection measures required for work on this project. This includes Implementation of Measures to Avoid and Mitigate the Potential for Prohibited Effects to Fish and Fish Habitat, in accordance with the letter issued by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) to DeWolfe & Morse Surveying Limited, dated December 15, 2023, which is included as part of the Contract Documents. .6 Once substantial performance has been issued, Contractor to complete all deficiencies within 14 calendar days of the Contractor being made aware of the deficiency by the Owner or Consultant. If the Contractor does not repair the deficiency with the 14 calendar day period, the Owner has the right to have outside forces complete the work and deduct the value of this work from the Contract Price. .7 The work is located and described as shown on drawings 2023-210 / Issued for Tender / November 30, 2023 (Revision 3) by DeWolfe & Morse Surveying Limited. .8 Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits to perform the work. .9 All related work, including traffic controls and incidentals associated with the above.
