Box 299 Gulf Shores, AL 36547 The Scope of Services will include but not limited to all services necessary to all management, supervision, labor, transportation, and equipment necessary to initiate load tickets at debris loading sites, estimate the volume of debris (in cubic yards) being delivered by trucks to each DMS/disposal site, and support the operations of the field supervisor(s), debris loading and tower/site monitors, and clerical staff.. Qualified firms are invited to submit. Faxed and/or emailed proposals will not be accepted. Furthermore, applicable clauses set forth pursuant to 2 C.F.R. Part 200 will be included in all purchase orders, contracts, and agreements. If subcontracts are to be let, through a prime contractor, that contractor is required to take the affirmative steps as detailed in the referenced statutes and furthermore herein. Firms submitting proposals are solely responsible for meeting submittal deadlines. Proposals received after the stated deadline will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered for any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Proposals deemed responsive will be evaluated and an award decision will be made by the City Council. A contract will be awarded to the qualified applicant whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the City of Gulf Shores. However, the City of Gulf Shores reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposals received. The successful proposer will be required to execute a written contract with the awarding authority, which will bind the successful proposer to the terms requiring compliance with all items required in these specifications. The contract period will be from the anticipated date of award of January 2024 to December 31, 2024 with an option to renew for a second and third term under identical price, terms, and conditions upon the mutual consent of the successful monitoring services contractor and the awarding authority. Any renewal contract shall be approved in writing by the successful monitoring services contractor and the awarding authority no later than 90 days prior to the expiration of the existing contract.
