Bids Shall Be Made in Accordance With the Notice to Bidders, Requirements for Bidders, Additional Information is Contained in the Bidding Documents. Bidders Must Carefully Read the Bidding Documents (and Addenda, if Any) Prior to Bidding This Project Per Manufacturer recommendation, the process for placing turf & resetting the boulders after subgrade has been prepped correctly, should be as follows: 1. Lay turf 2. Lay dry hydro-binder at boulder locations/footprints 3. Place boulders 4. Infill remainder of turf surface and around placed boulders 5. Hydrate for curing o Boulders will be placed back in locations determined by NH staff Contractor is responsible for sodding any remaining disturbed areas (price to be included in other items) Contractor is responsible, at their own cost, for replacing any irrigation items damaged during construction unless items are in the way of construction and need to be relocated. City can locate irrigation heads for contractor. Relocation is not anticipated. Concrete channel will be removed only to the spot that allows for positive drainage to occur and has been estimated on the plans and called out with plan notes. Cost is included in the anchor trench item Contractor can access site from either Grand Blvd. (Center or East) but will be responsible for any damaged sidewalk if accessing from the East. Rolling equipment that can fit in channel as well as channel structures can access at the Sherwood maintenance access and traverse up the channel if necessary. The envelope shall be addressed to the City Clerk of Nichols Hills and shall be marked SEALED BID FOR PROJECT NO. FC-2302 and shall state the Bidder's name and address and, if applicable, the designated portion of the work for which the Bid is submitted. If the Bid is sent by mail, the sealed envelope, marked as described above, shall be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope with the notation SEALED BID ENCLOSED on the face thereof.
