The project generally consists of the construction of a new submersible sewer pump station on the east side of Bowman Court in the Bethlehem community of Alexander County. The submersible pump station will be equipped with a precast concrete wetwell, two pumps, diesel driven emergency generator, gravel access driveway, and necessary electrical equipment. The pump station will discharge through an 8-inch force main, extending approximately 6,500 linear feet along Bowman Court and Rink Dam Road to the existing gravity sewer at Chigger Ridge Road. A gravity sewer manhole will be constructed just outside the station to accept future flows from economic development projects. Verifiable Goals EPA MBE/WBE participation goals: MBE 10.9% WBE 10.4%
