RFP D/B - Adams North Improvements One (1). Estimated Bid Value $11,300,000. This is the City's solicitation process to acquire Design-Build services for a Design-Build project to Design and Construction for approximately 7,850 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch and 12-inch Water Mains to replace existing Asbestos Cement Pipe (ACP) Water Mains and 1,000 LF of 8-inch new Water Mains; approximately 2,650 LF of 8-inch Sewer Mains to replace existing ACP and PVC Sewer Mains, 450 LF of 8-inch new sewer mains, 7,050 LF of rehabilitation of existing 6-inch and 8-inch Vitrified Clay (VC) Sewer Mains; approximately 59 dual Curb Ramps, 19 single Curb Ramps, and 1.30 miles of AC overlay resurfacing. For additional information refer to Attachment A. License Requirements A or [C-34 and C-42] The Project shall be completed within 632 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Contractors submitting a Proposal must be pre-qualified for the total amount proposed, includi8g all alternate items, prior to the date of submittal. Bids from contractors who have not been pre-qualified as applicable and Bids that exceed the maximum dollar amount at which contractors are pre-qualified may be deemed nonresponsive and ineligible for award. All questions related to this solicitation shall be submitted to: Bfriedenreic@sandiego.gov. Questions received less than 14 Days prior to the Proposal due date may not be considered. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
