The work order on these projects shall be issued 30 (thirty) calendar days after the date on which the contract for these projects has been awarded to the successful bidder. Completion Date. The work on these projects shall be completed within 20 (twenty) working days from the date of beginning work for all projects and in accordance with the plans and Standard Specifications. Pre-Qualified Contractors List For state/federal aid projects, the prime contractor must be on the Kansas Department of Transportation s pre-qualified contractors list. A bid submitted by a contractor not on the list will be considered nonresponsive and rejected. The City, through its Purchasing Manager reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and any part of parts of any proposal, and to waive formalities therein to determine which is the most beneficial proposal.
