The City of Seguin reserves the right to reject or accept any and all proposals and to waive informalities. The City Council's decision will be final. The City of Seguin is requesting bids for the purchase of eighty-nine (89) Steel Poles as further described and specified in the attached Material Standards document. Items to be purchased include: 10 each 30 FT Class 3 Steel Pole 30 each 40 FT Class 3 Steel Pole 10 each 40 FT Class 2 Steel Pole 15 each 45 FT Class 2 Steel Pole 20 each 45 FT Class 3 Steel Pole 4 each 55 FT Class 1 Steel Pole It is the intent of these specifications to provide bidders with specific information and data necessary to prepare and submit a bid. The transformers to be purchased under this bid shall be new and unused. The specifications described in this solicitation are considered to be the minimum bid specifications. The City will accept bids that exceed the minimum specifications. Consideration will be evaluated based on cost/benefit for those items that exceed the minimum specifications. Bidder shall identify specific features included on the transformers that exceed the specifications. The City of Seguin reserves the right to award a contract or contracts to a bidder or bidders on the basis of the lowest bid per item that fully meets specifications.
