DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project will complete a 1.4 mile long segment of the Cross Charlotte Trail, a hard surface multi-use path, through the Hidden Valley Neighborhood from N. Tryon Street near Mellow Drive to the intersection of Orr Road and N. Tryon Street, as well as 0.5 miles of connector paths to other streets in the neighborhood. The work includes but is not limited to clearing and grading, sidewalk, curb & gutter, asphalt pathways, elevated boardwalk, retaining wall, drainage structures, wheelchair ramps, pavement markings, and traffic control. The estimated cost of this Project is between $5 and $10 million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
