The Project is located on Redwood Road between Solano Ave and on/off-ramp intersection of southbound State Route 29 St. Helena Highway, postmile 13, and is described as follows: The work generally consists of the rehabilitation of an the existing 12-inch cast and/or ductile iron water main, which is partially encased by a steel pipe as it traverses the Napa Valley Wine Train right-of-way (ROW). The rehabilitation consists of removing sections of the isolated pipe, within the limits of this project, cleaning and inspecting the pipe via closed circuit television (CCTV), and lining the pipe with a fully structural (Class IV) cured in place pipe (CIPP). Pressure testing and disinfection of the pipe shall be conducted before tying in and returning the main to the potable water distribution system. The construction shall replace approximately 290 linear feet (LF) (inclusive of closure pieces) of pipe and is partly located within the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) ROW, in the City of Napa, California. The estimated construction cost is $185,000. Bidders should submit any such written inquiries at least five Working Days before the scheduled bid deadline.
