The project has a Targeted Small Business participation goal of ten percent (10%). The bids are for a single Prime Contract (civil, general, mechanical and electrical combined) for classroom and office additions to the existing building as well as a renovation which includes new sprinkler system, LED light upgrades and finish upgrades as oulined in the construction documents. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis; segregated sub-bids will not be accepted. D. Awards of Contract is anticipated to commence on or about January 23, 2024. The work may begin immediately following execution of the agreement and is scheduled to be completed by July 11, 2025, in one phase as shown on the Contract Documents. A public hearing will be conducted at a meeting to be held at Midland Community School District Board Room; 106 W Webster Street, Wyoming Iowa 52362, at 6:00 p.m., local time, on the [23] day of [January], 20[24], at which time and place any person may appear and file objections to the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and the estimated cost of said project. Bidders and Sub-bidders requiring interpretation of the bidding documents or substitution requests are required to make a written request to the Architect before 5:00 p.m. local time seven calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. Clarifications or modifications of the Bid Documents will be addressed via Addendum by 5:00 p.m. local time five calendar days prior to the date for receopt of Bids. 1.
