Estimated cost is $1,200,000 to $1,400,000. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. No conditional bid bond will be accepted. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Grant County. The Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, reserves the right to reject any and all bids. This contract provides for the shoulder widening and overlaying of 0.87 miles of Baseline West Road, from Silica Road East 0.87 Miles and for the widening of Silica Road from Sunland Road South 1 mile, and the overlaying of Silica Road from mile South of Sunland Road to 1 mile south of Sunland Road, both are a two lane county road in Grant County, WA, and includes, roadway excavation, embankment compaction, crushed surfacing base courser, HMA, roadway striping, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
