The project consists of selective demolition and renovation throughout the existing lobby area, concessions and restrooms. Est. Completion Date: Aug. 16, 2024 Site Address: 1 Whitney Way Question Deadline 01/22/2024 All questions must be received 1 day prior to bid opening. Questions regarding clarification or interpretation of the bid documents must be addressed in writing and mailed or faxed to: Sheridan College of Sheridan County, 1 Whitney Way, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801 307-675-0445 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. Provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the project for the Sheridan College as per plans and specifications. B. In general the work includes: 1. Selective demolition in the concessions and restrooms areas and renovation of new concessions and restrooms within the existing lobby of the Golden Dome facility located on the campus of Sheridan College, located at 1 Whitney Way, Sheridan, WY. C. Energy Retrofit Measures 1. Designate delivery date for each product in construction schedule. 2. Inspect delivered equipment, report damaged or defective items. 3. Protect equipment from exposure to elements and from damage. 4. Repair, replace or arrange for repair of damage as a result of Contractors' operations. 5. Cut the necessary openings in existing walls, floors and roof. Patch the openings to match existing conditions. 6. Install all work as required by local codes. 7. apply and pay for all permits, fees, licenses and inspections. D. Owners Duties 1. Any portable equipment, appliances, etc., which may cause hindrance to the Contractors work shall be removed from the area by the Owner. 2. The Contractor shall visit the site and advise the Owner of any equipment, appliances, etc, which the Contractor feels should be moved. 3. Provide reasonable access to the site and spaces to allow construction. 1.2 CONTRACTOR USE OF PREMISES A. The building shall remain occupied and in operation throughout the construction. Coordinate with the Owner for the portion of various systems which can be shut down and the duration of shut down. The Contractor shall reschedule his work around the Owners operations to minimize the impact on those operations. Some work may have to be accomplished during evenings or weekends. Any requirement for overtime shall be included in the Contractors Bid pricing. Careful and ongoing coordination with the Owners representative shall be required. B. Confine operations at site to areas permitted by law, ordinances, permits and the Contract Documents. Coordinate use of site and building with the Owner. C. Do not unreasonably encumber site with materials or equipment. Do not store any equipment or material in occupied areas of the building or in locations which would block or restrict any exit way from the building. D. Assume full responsibility for protection and safekeeping of products stored on premises. E. Owner has first right of refusal to all equipment removed for this project. The Contractor shall disconnect and store any device of value that the Owner may want. The Owner will remove these items from the site within two days after notice from Contractor. This Contractor is responsible for the protection of all equipment. All items not claimed by the Owner shall be removed from the site by the Contractor. Items to be removed will not be stored on site, they will be removed as the job progresses and disposed of properly. F. Contractor will avoid any and all interaction with the student body of Sheridan College. Any inappropriate interaction with the student body will result in immediate removal from campus grounds.
