The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Division of Environmental Health and Sustainability (DEHS) serves to protect and improve Colorado's environment and human health through education, collaboration and compliance assurance while promoting sustainability practices. Project Period The initial time frame for this project is February 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. At the sole discretion of the State, and depending upon funding and Offeror performance, CDPHE may renew the agreement for up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods, not to exceed five (5) years total. At the sole discretion of the State, the CDPHE may modify the dates of the contract. Project Budget The budget for the initial contract term for this project is not expected to exceed $20,000. At the sole discretion of the State, CDPHE may modify the budget, depending upon funding availability and Offeror performance. Description of Services The successful Bidder shall: A. Perform on-site lighting audits B. Perform interior and exterior lighting upgrades a. Upgrades shall be like-for-like replacements; retrofit or replacement of the existing fixtures b. Upgrades requiring extensive wiring or new additions shall not be included in this project c. CDPHE does not anticipate any project requiring the pulling of permits d. Fixture replacements shall be completed by certified lighting technicians or licensed electricians e. Electrical work if needed shall require licensed electricians C. Perform replacements and upgrades including but not limited to: a. 2 ft LED lamps b. 2 ft Fluorescent Tubes c. Wall Mounted Motion Activated Light Switch d. LED Wall Packs e. LED Exit signs f. Outdoor signage lighting g. Cooler lighting h. All fixtures2, lamps and bulbs shall be DLC listings or Energy Star D. Provide estimated savings to the business for upgrade E. Submit specification sheets of new products to CDPHE F. Include warranties on materials and labor The Small Business Equity Fund (SBEF) grant program, an initiative of the Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN), provides funding to small businesses in disproportionately impacted communities interested in implementing energy efficiency upgrades. This Equity Fund currently focuses on small businesses in Aurora and Commerce City interested in decreasing energy costs and increasing the efficiency and sustainability of their operations. The grant provides funding for energy upgrades such as LED lighting, occupancy sensors, programmable thermostats, and more. The purpose of this Documented Quote is to provide CDPHE with a pool of potential lighting contractors or electricians that can provide installation services for energy saving devices to businesses, as applicable. These upgrades may include providing the device and installation services for the following replacements: indoor and outdoor LED lighting, cooler/case LED lighting, LED exit signs, occupancy sensors, and programmable thermostats.
