Reference Number 0000337684 City Hall Retaining Wall Repair The following scope of work will be completed as part of this project: A. Remove stone cap and store onsite for use to recap wall after rebuild. B. Remove and dispose debris inside the wall. C. Install concrete footing with rebar. D. Build new section of retaining wall from cmu block and concrete with proper rebar. E. Install drain piping through the new section of wall F. Reinstall veneer that is stacked on site. G. Reinstall stone cap. Question Acceptance Deadline 01/03/2024 10:00 AM EST Questions are submitted online No -- All questions relating to this RFP shall be emailed to Erin Mulligan, Purchasing Agent at emulligan@cityofnewport.com. There is a 100 foot long retaining wall that sits behind City Hall at 43 Broadway Newport, RI, 02840. A 15- foot section of the wall has collapsed and has fallen into the parking lot of City Hall. Stones have been moved from the wall location to a safe location behind City Hall and out of way. These stones can, and should, if possible, be used to rebuild the face of the wall so that it all matches.
