Malvern Borough hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to refuse any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in Bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder. The project involves but is not limited to the installation of 400 LF of storm sewer, 363 LF of cured-in-place pipe lining, ground water collection system, bentonite plugs, 15 LF curb reconstruction, curb ramp, demo and reconstruction of concrete sidewalk, 3,116 SY 1-1/2" mill & overlay, and permeation grouting. Project site is located within the Malvern Borough, Chester County, Pennsylvania along the following roads: West First Avenue, and South Warren Avenue. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing via PennBid Vendor Discussions Tab. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and posted to PennBid Public Files. All parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents will be notified via PennBid Public Notices. Perform a nonintrusive geophysical subsurface investigation within the accessible sections of the specified search areas in an attempt to detect subsoil anomalies indicative of or related to roadway subsidence and/or subsoil void formation. The nonintrusive geophysical delineation techniques utilized include collection and interpretation of data from Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) instrumentation. The collected site data will be analyzed and correlated with the findings presented on a color plan-view SAM.
