The City of Sarasota is soliciting bids for the construction of Siesta Drive (Lift Station #3) Force Main Replacement. Pricing shall include all labor, material, equipment, testing, tax, overhead and profit necessary to install, construct, and place into service the items described in this Bid to provide a complete and functional system ready for use by the City. Description: Enter Total Bid price from Bid Form titled Bid Form/Schedule of Values Siesta Dr.(LS#3) Force Main Replacement located under Documents. Q & A deadline: Jan 10, 2024 5:00:00 PM EST All improvements are located on Siesta Drive near Lift Station No. 3 within the City of Sarasota and Sarasota County's rights-of-way. Life Station 3 is located at the northeast corner of Siesta Dr. and Norsota Way or just north of Nora Patterson Bay Island Park - South entrance (946 Siesta Dr., Sarasota). A. In case of additional staging area, a separate Temporary Staging Area agreement shall be executed between the Contractor and property owner and a copy of the recorded document is to be provided to the City of Sarasota Utilities Department or the Project Engineer. B. The Contractor is to maintain all roadway access during the pipe installation and must coordinate a phase-approach installation and/or closure to be approved by the Project Engineer. C. Work in this Section includes all labor, material, equipment, testing, tax, overhead, and profit necessary to install, construct, and place into service the items described in this Section to provide a complete and functional system ready for use by the City. D. WASTEWATER - 8-INCH PVC FORCE MAIN 1. Furnish an install 8-inch PVC Force Main by open cut. 2. Dewater, excavate, and restore all piping connections and trenches. 3. Properly restore all asphalt (GR-01-1) and sod of disturbed areas. 4. Pig and flush the existing 8" HDPE DR-11 and install temporary pig port.
