Prospective Bidders Are Advised to Carefully Review the Plan, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Details of This Document. Prequalification: Prequalification by Idot Will Be Required of All Contractors and Subcontractors on This Project in the Respective Discipline(S) They Will Be Responsible for Constructing. Hma Contractor Must Be Prequalified With the "003 - Hot-mix Asphalt (Hma) Plant Mix" This project is located on 12th Street (State St. to Garfield St.), Washington Street (13th St. to 11th St.), and Lincoln Street (Division St. to 9th St.) in the City of Lockport, Will County, Illinois. A pre-construction meeting will be scheduled by the City following the execution of the Contract and prior to the start of construction. At the preconstruction meeting the Contractor will be requested to furnish the City fluorescent pink and/or white water-based marking spray paint, bundle of pointed hardwood oak lath, bundle of hardwood oak stakes (2" x 2") and ribbon. Additional spray paint, lath or other materials listed may be requested during the project. These are for marking the proposed improvements and related work. The cost shall be included in the cost of the contract.
