The City of Palatka was awarded funding and hereby requests proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide grant administration services for a FFY 2021-2022 Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for the following project. Procurement and contracting will follow CDBG regulations pending grant award and Florida Commerce approval. Water and Sewer Improvements: Madison Street between North 5th Street and North 11th Street The proposed project would involve the replacement of 2,100 linear feet of potable water main, five (5) fire hydrants, and 16 gate valves. Additionally, the project includes the reconnection of 24 water services, water mains in eight (8) locations, as well as the removal and replacement of sidewalks and driveways as its related to the replacement of potable water mains. Service Area 1 will take place on Madison Street between North 5th Street and North 11th Street in the City. Service area 1 includes all the residential housing units in the service area whose inhabitants are served by the Recipient's potable water system. Service Area 2 will replace a High Service Pump at Recipient's Potable Water Plant. The proposed improvements will take place at 320 North Moody Road. Service area 2 includes all of the people living in the residential housing units in the city whose occupants are the primary users of the Recipient's potable water system.
