Reference Number AB-2023-07135 The Province requires services of a radio site maintenance and radio equipment provider at AFRRCS Radio Sites across Alberta. The Contractor must provide a minimum of one Maintenance and Support Lead and a minimum of three Maintenance and Support Resources to successfully perform the Services. The Contractor will inspect, repair, maintain, and/or upgrade AFRRCS Radio Sites and radio equipment. Out of the 333 remote radio sites, the Contractor will provide Services to 215 of these sites. The other 123 sites are managed by Alberta Forestry and Parks (AFP). Additionally, the Contractor will also perform the Services at two mobile radio sites stationed in Edmonton and the network core sites located at Millbourne Data Centre in Edmonton and the Emergency Operations Centre in Calgary. The Province requires the Services as set out in Appendix B to this RFP. The anticipated duration of Services is from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2027. The Province, in its discretion, will confirm actual start and end dates for the Services upon finalizing the Contract. The Contractor shall, at its own expense, and without limiting its liabilities or obligations under this Contract, insure its operations under a contract of general Liability insurance in an amount not less than $2,000,000 inclusive per occurrence, insuring against bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage Including loss of use thereof.
