Project consists of renovation work to the Apollo High School Facility. Scope of work includes mechanical improvements to the C4 area, restroom renovations throughout the building, LED lighting and control upgrades, and renovation to the building interior finishes. The following packages will be accepted via the quote bid process: o 4A Masonry o 5A Metal Fabrications – Material Only (Tax Exempt) o 5B Metal Fabrications – Installation Only o 7A Roofing o 7B Joint Sealants o 8B Overhead Coiling Doors o 8C Aluminum Framed Storefront / Glazing o 9A Gypsum Board Assemblies o 9B Acoustical Ceilings o 9E Fluid Applied Flooring o 9F Painting o 10 Accessories – Material Only (Tax Exempt) o 12A Window Shades o 12B Countertops – Material Only (Tax Exempt) o 21A Fire Protection Required for all contracts $50,000 and higher. Bidders are required to comply with the Minnesota Responsible Contractors Act (16C.285). Contractor's whose bid is greater than $50,000 are to include the verification of Compliance. Performance Bond is required for all contracts $175,000 and higher. B. Performance Bond is required in amount of 100 percent of Contract amount, including alternates. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive Bidding formalities, and to award prime contracts to Bidder that Owner finds to their best advantage. B. Each Bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against Owner, Architect, Engineer, and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any Bid. This Contract has a 7-calendar day prior approval clause for product Substitutions. Owner will accept sealed bids from Bidders for the separate prime contracts per specification section 00 2413 Contract Bid Categories (Contracts to be awarded on a lump sum Basis). B. Construction is expected to start June 2024.
