The Housing Authority of Jefferson County will receive quotes for Building Demolition funded under Modernization Program No. IL01P059-501-22 at Project IL-59-3/Dix in Jefferson County, Illinois. Quotes shall be submitted in a single lump sum proposal. Work consists of demolition of an existing 4 unit rowhouse at 537 - 533 North Jackson Street in Dix, Jefferson County, Illinois. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity and that payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Specifications must be paid on this project. Any State rate that exceeds the corresponding Federal rate is inapplicable and shall not be enforced. Offerors shall carefully examine the documents and construction site to obtain firsthand knowledge of the existing condition. Contractors will not be given extra payments for conditions which can be determined by examining the site and documents. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the solicitation process. The Housing Authority also reserves the right to negotiate with the offerors after the solicitation for quotes. If negotiations occur, the Housing Authority will make available the results of the proposals to each offeror. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty days (60) subsequent to the opening of proposals without the consent of the Housing Authority
