The City of St. Joseph is currently advertising for bids for the 2024 Sidewalk Replacement Project. This is part of the Citys biennial sidewalk replacement program. This years project will be located predominantly in the northwest quadrant of the City of St. Joseph. The advertisement for this project is located below. This work shall meet Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction, Road & Bridge Standard Plans and the requirements of the project plans and specifications Work shall commence no sooner than March 4, 2024 and shall be completed no later than November 1, 2024 and subject to the Progress Clause. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to City of St. Joseph , will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. One hundred percent (100%) Labor, Material and Performance Bond and a Certificate of Insurance will be required of the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids should it consider same to be in its best interest.
