All bidders must individually apply for the bid package attached so that they are properly registered to receive any updates, questions, or changes. Handicapped Accessible Recreational Fishing Pier, Seawall, and Miscellaneous Work at Salem Willows Park. This project consists of the construction of a fishing pier, seawall, drainage improvements, and miscellaneous work in accordance with the above referenced documents. The estimated project value is ($5,000,000). The right is reserved to waive any informality in or reject any or all proposals. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid. Bid deposits, payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Fish and Game shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified, cashier's or treasurer's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. Minimum wage rates for this project have been predetermined by M.G.L. under Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, inclusive. Proposals that do not have the Affidavit (of non collusion, etc.) properly completed will be declared informal. Bids for all items must be received in sealed envelopes clearly marked: "BID: PUBLIC FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS, SALEM WILLOWS PARK FISHING PIER".
