Bid Categories Equipment Package 1 - Chillers Equipment Package 2 - AHU Equipment Package 3 - Switchgear Equipment Package 4 - Generator & ATS Responsible Equipment Package Suppliers who have proper experience in meeting milestone delivery dates, equipment and qualification are invited to bid the supply of said equipment. These factors will be considered in the Award of Contract and/or Purchase Order and all work will be performed under the standard regulations for construction of Eastern Kentucky University and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The project will be constructed utilizing a "Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR)". The successful Individual Equipment Package Supplier will be required to accept payment directly from Eastern Kentucky University as a tax exempt identity. D. W. Wilburn, Inc. will serve as the CMAR for the project. This Advertisement For Bids consist of the following Equipment Packages to complete the project scope: Equipment Package 1 - Chillers Equipment Package 2 - AHU Equipment Package 3 - Switchgear Equipment Package 4 - Generator & ATS Combination Equipment Package Proposals will be accepted for "Combo Equipment Package 1 & 2" and "Combo Equipment Package 3 & 4", however, proposer must provide Individual Equipment Package Proposals as indicated above. These three proposals shall be submitted with separate Bid Forms. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Clerical errors and omission the computation of the lump sum bid shall not be cause for withdrawal of bid without forfeiture of bid bond. Bids may be withdrawn in person only, prior to the closing date for receipt of bids. A Bid Bond is not required to be provided with the Official Bid Form by the proposer. A 100% Material Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder in the name of D. W. Wilburn, Inc. upon award. Cost for this Material Bond shall be included in the individual equipment package bidders lump sum bid. D. W. Wilburn, Inc. and/or the Owner, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the owner and/or CMAR may be served. The project does not have an applicable state or federal prevailing wage. Each Individual Bid Package Contractor and its perspective Trade Package Contractors shall provide wages per all areas of jurisdiction.
