SCOPE OF WORK The Town of Leesburg, Virginia ("Town") is requesting sealed bids from qualified Bidders to establish a term contract to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to provide annual landscape maintenance services along several sections of roadway within the Town. The successful bidder, also referred to herein as "Contractor", shall provide labor, equipment, and materials necessary to provide a comprehensive landscape maintenance program for trees and associated shrubs and groundcovers within nineteen (19) designated areas to include tree, ornamental grass & shrub pruning, edging, mulching, weed management, fertilization, pest control, watering, tree & shrub removal, and trash removal. No turf maintenance is included in this contract. The Town reserves the right to perform all, part, or none of the work. Question Deadline 12/14/2023 at 5:00 PM ET As part of the maintenance of streets and roadways, landscaping along several sections of the roadway with the Town must be maintained. Landscape maintenance for this project is scheduled to begin in March 2024. The Town reserves the right to award in whole or in part, to make multiple awards, or to waive informalities in the process of awarding this contract. License Requirement: All firms doing business for the Town are required to be licensed in accordance with the Town's "Business, Professional, and Occupational Licensing (BPOL) Tax" Ordinance. Wholesale and retail merchants without a business location in Leesburg, VA are exempt from this requirement. Questions concerning the BPOL Tax should be directed to the Department of Finance, telephone 703-771-2723. Indicate the BPOL license number on the bid form.
