Scope of Work: Approximately 162 Square Feet of running track repairs for a 400M, 8 lane track, 150 foot long jump runway. 2 d-zones with pole vault runway, including all surface preparation, various crack repairs and leveling. A 3mm re-top of the existing rubber surface with specified striping. In addition, crack sealing of all adjacent curbs and valley gutters is to be included. An additional 100 Square Feet at various locations shall be considered as contingency within base of work. Each individual bid shall be accompanied by a surety company issued Bid Bond or by a Certified or Cashier's Check made payable to the Washoe County School District, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, said amount to be forfeited to WCSD, should the Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded fail to enter into the Contract in accordance with the Contractor's bid and any other contract documents and furnish the required bonds within ten (10) days after the delivery of notice of such award. Work shall be completed on or before August 1, 2024 The right is reserved by WCSD to reject any and all bids or accept the bid, which is deemed by WCSD to be in the best interest of the school district. WCSD also reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or informalities in the submitted bids. The work shall include the furnishing of all labor, tools, equipment, material, transportation and the performance of all operations required for the Repairs and Track Rubber Overlay at North Valleys High School at the site(s) and associated work as specified herein and shall include the cleanup and removal from the site(s) of all debris resulting from the operations performed. It shall also be the Contractor's responsibility to take all necessary safety precautions and to furnish barricades and/or other safety measures as required. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the requirements of these specifications and any and all appropriate state, county and local ordinances.
