Type of Award:Lump Sum This project will include the extension of William Burgess Boulevard (WBB) from US17 to Miner Road. The roadway extension is an urban typical section that primarily includes two traffic lanes, curb and gutter, sidewalks, a shared use path (SUP), and a landscaped median. There is roadway widening and resurfacing required to tie-in US17, the west approach to WBB and the east connect to Miner Road. The intersection improvements include US 17, a roundabout at Theresa Court and a roundabout at Miner Road. Infrastructure improvements include drainage conveyance, stormwater pond facilities, new JEA utilities (16" watermain and 16" dry sanitary forcemain), street lighting, signalization, irrigation, and utility relocations/protections. Most of the project is a new roadway alignment extension requiring tree clearing and grubbing, and earthwork embankment within new County ROW limits that also extend adjacent to the Yulee High and Middle School property. The work requires adherence to all applicable sections of Nassau County Standard Specifications, FDOT 2023/24 Standards/Specifications and JEA 2022 Water and Wastewater Standards/Specifications in addition to Contract plan and specification documents. All questions must be submitted electronically by December 18, 2023 @ 4:00 PM. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification of your response and egregious and/or repeated violations may result in debarment from future solicitations, contracts, or other business with the County An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Organization No BIDS may be withdrawn for a period of one-hundred twenty (120) days after closing time scheduled for receipt of BIDS The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS and waive all informalities in whole or in part, with or without cause, and/or to accept the bid that, in its best judgment, will be for the best interest of Nassau County, Florida.
