The project includes the demolition of the existing irrigation pump system and the installation of a new irrigation system for the 9-hole golf course as well as the existing driving range. A Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond payable to the Addison Park District for not less than five (5) percent of the total bid amount will be required for each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond for the total Contract Amount. The successful bidder will also be required to execute AIA Form A101 - 2017 as the contract between the parties. In all work performed under this Contract, the Contractor and all of its subcontractors shall comply with the current provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act of the Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 48, Sections 39s-1 et seq. No bids will be withdrawn without the written consent of the Addison Park District. If a Bid is withdrawn, the Bidder will not be permitted to submit another Bid for the same project. Only bids in compliance with the provisions of the Bid Documents will be considered. Bids will be considered firm for a period of ninety (90) days. The Addison Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions of bids/portions of work and to waive any technicalities in the bidding if it should be deemed in the public interest.
