The new building will serve as a new entry into Centre Block for visitors and expand the space for parliamentarians whilst blending seamlessly with the heritage buildings currently on Parliament Hill. The Scope of Services of this prequalification package is for the supply and installation of waterproofing, dampproofing and roofing for the Parliament Welcome Centre. The scope includes, but is not limited to the following: Foundation Waterproofing and Insulation including but not limited to: Blindside Foundation Walls Open Cut Foundation Walls Trenches and Pits Footings and Grade Beams Slabs On Grade Contraction Joints Temporary Walls Below Grade Roof Assemblies Waterproofing and Insulation Envelope Waterproofing and Insulation Penetrations Waterproofing Working with manufacturers for warranties for tie-ins to existing buildings The project value listed reflects the total project estimate. The scope of services may be split into a number of Subcontracts due to scheduling and phasing requirements, subcontractor capacity and the size of the project.
