This is a project that will remove and replace approximately 3800 linear feet of sidewalks including driveways, ramps, and surface utility adjustments along Wurzbach Road between Fredericksburg Road and IH 10 in Council District 8. The project will also include two additive alternates one for installing raised curb for a Flying T intersection at Whisper Valley, and a second to provide additional funding as incentive for early completion of the project. Both additive alternates are subject to the bids coming in at or below the expected budget. The Deadline for questions is scheduled for December 14, 2023 at 4:00PM (CT). Respondent must submit questions concerning this solicitation through the CivCast website City may elect to award this Project based solely on the base bid, based on a combination of the base bid plus any combination of selected alternates or based on a combination of the base bid plus all alternates that serve the best interest of City. All bids must include a price for all units or line items, including any alternates. Entering a price of $0.00 shall mean the units or line items will be provided at no cost to City. A unit price left blank shall result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and disqualified from consideration. City reserves the right to delete line items prior to award. It is understood and agreed that the work is to be substantially completed on or before 200 calendar days.
