The Work includes furnishing any or all tools, supervision and labor, permits, approvals, police details, bonds, including all other incidental services necessary to provide the fiber and associated equipment and hardware if required, and the fiber installation in accordance to design and specifications outlined in contract documents. The selected vendor shall complete all Work, within fifty two (52) weeks of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed Broadband FTTP Plant Upgrade. The existing HFC plant consists of approximately 110 miles of cable bearing strand (CBS), and approximately 7 miles of underground plant. There are approximately 12,500 homes passed. About 2467 are in multi-dwelling units (MDU) of 5 or more units. MDU Post wiring is not included in the contract.
