Question Deadline 12/12/2023 at 5:00 PM CT Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Grant Recipient or engineer Bid Packages 1/2/3/4: Replace existing drainage structures with new including concrete box culverts or concrete bridges; erosion control rock riprap; elevate roadways; scarify, shape and re-compact roadway subgrade and new crushed stone base with dress-up and seeding. Contractors are not required to bid all packages to be considered for an award. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Tyler County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Cash currency is not acceptable as bid surety and is not to be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Tyler County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Tyler County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. The locality reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received where such rejection or waiver is in its interest.
