Bid Group: 1 - Bid Packages: All Trades The Skokie & Carleton Washburne Schools. 520 Glendale Avenue Winnetka, Illinois 60093 515 Hibbard Road Winnetka, IL 60093 All bids must be submitted in accordance with the bidding instructions contained in the Bidding Documents for the project. Bid security in the form of a bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bond shall be payable to the BOARD OF EDUCATION WINNETKA PUBLIC SCHOOLS DIS 36 1235 Oak St, Winnetka, IL 60093. All documents and information required by the bidding instructions contained in the Bidding Documents for the project shall be submitted with the bid. Incomplete, late or non-conforming bids may not be accepted. No bids shall be withdrawn, cancelled or modified after the time for opening of bids without the Board's consent for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. If during the time period of work, the prevailing wage rates change, the contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount. All bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make an award that in the Board's sole opinion is in the best interest of the District.
