The Los Angeles County Public Works is inviting Design-Build proposals from interested firms to perform the design, construction, and warranty maintenance for the Mac Laren Community Park located at 4024 Durfee Avenue, El Monte, CA 91732. Proposers must submit questions in writing and request information for this solicitation by 14 calendar days prior to the submittal deadline. The Project is located on 5.6 acres of the MacLaren Hall site in the City of El Monte. The new park will include a regulation-size soccer field (softball diamond and smaller soccer fields superimposed), basketball court, tennis court, walking path, fitness area, restrooms, picnic areas, shade structure, outdoor classroom/performance space, ecological/sustainability educational features, childrens play areas, a water feature, and security and field lighting. All existing buildings, structures and utilities in the overall 13.6-acre site will be demolished as part of the park project.
