As of January 9, 2024 the project was awarded to MaxPlayFit LLC with the awarded amount of $74,302.56 Amherst County will accept sealed bids for Construction of two pavilions at Seminole Park, 101 High Street, Amherst, VA 24521 Amherst County desires to construct two steel pavilions at Seminole Park. The intended use is for picnics and other similar activities. This project will require communication and scheduling coordination with the project owner due to adjacent projects at this location. Bidder must be a licensed and insured contractor, in good standing with the State and must possess a minimum Class B Virginia contractor's license. B. Steel rectangle pavilion to be 20'0" x 24'0" C. Structure will be installed and anchored on a 20'0" x 24'0" concrete pad D. Concrete floor to be minimum 4" thickness of #3500 concrete mixture on 4" thick washed gravel, with no. 5 rebar on two-foot centers both directions and either fiber or 6x6 wire matting. All vegetation is to be removed from under the pad. E. Column to be steel welded to base plates for surface mounting. Columns to be anchored to concrete footings. F. Main support beams to be steel. G. Purlins to be steel. H. Roofing to be 24 Gauge pre-cut steel with multi-rib panels. Roof slope to be 4/12 pitch with an eave of 8'0". Owner's choice of color. I. All steel components to receive TGIC Polyester powder coating. Owner's choice of color. J. All structural hardware and roofing fasteners to be provided. K. Bidder will be responsible for obtaining necessary permits. L. The successful bidder shall provide all work activities in conformance with "OSHA" regulations M. This is a Buy America Act Project; therefore, you must provide a certificate with the raw materials that indicate it is all USA sourced raw materials. Pavilion B Specifications A.
