The approximate quantities involved in this work include, but are not limited to,: Shared Use Path, Rem 385 Syd Underdrain, Subgrade, 8 inch 54 Ft Shared Use Path, Conc, Modified 595 Syd Aggregate Base, 6 inch 707 Syd Surface Restoration, Seeding 1,200 Syd Playground Turf 813 Syd Playground Equipment 1 LS Job Location 400 Sixth Street Rochester, Michigan United States 48307 BID SECURITY Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal, payable to the City of Rochester, as security for the acceptance of the contract. A bid bond on the Michigan Standard Form, issued by an approved Surety Company, may be furnished in lieu of a certified check. The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond of 100% for two years of the Final Contract Price. The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder. The City of Rochester reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to award the agreement to other than the low proposal, to negotiate the terms and conditions of all and any part of the bids, to waive irregularities and/or formalities, and in general to make award in the manner as determined to be in the City's best interest and its sole discretion.
