**As of January 08, 2024, project was awarded to Enterprises G. Inc, awarded amount is $110,929.19.** The purpose of this document is to provide general and specific information for a complete turnkey restroom renovation at the Main Branch of the Public Library at 301 North Washington Street Hendersonville, NC 28792. 1. All work is to be completed between 5 pm and 7 am. NO work shall be done during business hours unless approved by the Library Director in advance. 2. Dumpsters and all construction areas shall be fenced, and zip-walls erected in the lobby to keep dust out of the Main library. 3. Signage must be installed to direct the public away from the construction zone and no construction materials are to be stored outside of the fenced area. 4. All plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, countertops, mirrors, wall, and floor tile, hand dryers, stops, and traps are to be replaced. Only toilet carriers may be reused if applicable. 5. One existing toilet in each restroom is to be removed to meet ADA compliance requirements. (Partition plan already reflects change) 6. A complete list of approved fixtures and color selections will be handed out during the Prebid meeting. Dimensions for partitions and countertops MUST BE VERIFIED before ordering. 7. Tile shall be Floridatile, Divinity series in the DIV20- Horizon color installed on floors and all perimeter walls, 96" AFF of both restrooms in a vertical pattern. 8. All grout shall be MAPEI, KERAPOXY in the 5019- Pearl Gray color on floors and walls. Bidder shall provide a copy of their general contractor licensure. If not provided the bid will be considered non responsive. The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids received as allowed by law, or to select the bid which, in our opinion, is in the best overall interest of the County. The award shall be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the bid for the performance of the contract. County Responses 5:00 PM December 7, 2023 Bid Date: Bidders shall provide any available product literature and manufacturer's specifications at the request of Henderson County. All bids will be opened at the time and place shown on the enclosed Bid Proposal Form. Late bids will not be opened or accepted. Bids will be examined by the Purchasing Agent and the using department officials promptly after the opening and an award made as early as possible. Bidders may request and receive copies of the bid document and/or bid tabulation after the award of the project.
