The FAA has a requirement for a requirement for an A/E firm to design and prepare bid documents for both the new San Jose (SJC) Remote Transmitter/Receiver tower (RTR) and the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Building. Review all attachments pertaining to this solicitation prior to submitting a proposal. Please note the FAR references cited in SAM are not applicable to the FAA as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS). This SIR/RFP is being posted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisitio Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this SIR. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer, Katherine Fogle at katherine.fogle@faa.gov, no later than December 15, 2023. Proposals must be received in the inbox of Katie Fogle at Katherine.fogle@faa.gov no later than 15:00 PT on January 22, 2024. Offeror must request receipt for submission if so desired. All Amendments issued, if any, must be signed and submitted with the Offeror's submission. Offerors are cautioned that proposals may take significant time to process electronically before reaching the inbox. Delays in transmission will not excuse a late delivery. Any proposal received after 15:00 PT on January 22, 2024. will be considered non-responsive and deemed ineligible for award. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
