Weesaw Township Park Improvements. The project is located at 13430 California Road, New Troy, MI. The Project includes installation of asphalt courts with coating and striping, concrete sidewalks, fencing, athletic goal and net installation, a pavilion, fireplace, the installation of site furnishings and associated work. Project includes full removal of existing parking lot and development of new accessible parking/site access, construction of basketball courts, and associated site furnishings. Michigan Department of Natural Resources Recreation Passport Grant funding is being used for the project and relevant State or Federal requirements apply. The Contractor and all Sub-Contractors must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act), the 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), and Executive Directive 2019-09, as amended. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Weesaw Township will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. A 100% Labor, Material, and Performance Bond will be required of the successful bidder.
