The City of Lewiston invites sealed bids for the Lewiston Fire Sub Station 5, 9 Jaydee Way, Lewiston project in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by Context Architecture. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with the City of Lewiston Purchasing Office and the provisions of the contract documents entitled: LEWISTON FIRE SUB-STATION 5. SCOPE OF WORK includes all aspects of General Contracting work. SCOPE OF WORK includes all aspects of General Contracting work. The total Construction cost is estimated at $6,500,000.00 The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids if it be in the public interest to do so. Interested bidders must register with the Purchasing Agent either through direct response to the City's RFP solicitation at myerson@lewistonmaine.gov or by contacting the Purchasing Agent, Allen Ward at 207-513-3040/award@lewistonmaine.gov to be added to the bidders list. The sealed envelope shall be marked with the name and address of the Contractor and entitled: PROPOSAL FOR: 2023-077 Jaydee Way Fire Station and addressed to: "Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Lewiston, Maine". If the Proposal is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Proposal and marked as above must be enclosed in a second envelope which shall be addressed to: "Purchasing Agent, 27 Pine Street, City Hall, Lewiston, Maine 04243-0479."
