A certified check or bid bond issued by a surety authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of Texas in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Proposal must be furnished. The Project includes the construction of a 20-ft x 20-ft x 48-ft high wood rappel tower with four (4) platforms, three (3) activity walls, and a practice ramp. Competitive Sealed Proposals will be considered only from Specialty Design/Build Rappel Tower Contractors with experience in the construction of wood rappel towers; all other vendors with no experience in design/build rappel towers do not need to submit. All work or portions of work necessary to provide a complete in-place and structurally sound rappel tower shall be as represented in the Drawings and Specifications.
